Laser cleaning for wind energy

AeroBeam

Drone deployed laser cleaning, laser analysis, and imaging tools that help wind operators remove contamination quickly, precisely, and with minimal downtime.

What we do

We help wind operators see, understand, and restore blade performance.

AeroBeam develops advanced inspection and cleaning tools for wind turbine blades, combining long-range imaging, machine learning, laser analysis, and precision laser cleaning. Our systems are designed to detect surface contamination and damage, map where performance is being lost, and support targeted maintenance before small issues become costly downtime.

Our first product is a ground-based real-time imaging system that allows site teams to inspect operating turbines from a safe distance. From there, AeroBeam is developing drone-deployed laser cleaning and analysis systems that can treat only the areas that need attention, without water, chemicals, or physical contact.

Born from PhD research in laser spectroscopy, imaging, and turbine contamination analysis, AeroBeam is building practical tools for a cleaner, safer, and more efficient wind energy sector.
